No-Advantage Scoring (No-Ad)
Definition
No-advantage scoring, or no-ad, ends the game immediately after one pair wins the golden point at deuce. No two-point advantage is required. Per ITF Beach Tennis Rules Rule 6, games are scored 0, 15, 30, 40, and then the golden point. No-ad scoring is mandatory under ITF rules and is not an optional format. The receiver chooses which side (deuce or advantage court) the serve is directed to on the golden point.
