No-Advantage Scoring (No-Ad)

No-advantage scoring (no-ad) is the scoring system used in beach tennis where the game ends immediately after one player wins the golden point at deuce (40-40) rather than requiring a two-point advantage. Per ITF Beach Tennis Rules Rule 6, games are scored 0, 15, 30, 40, and then the golden point. No-ad scoring is mandatory under ITF rules and is not an optional format. The receiver chooses which side (deuce or advantage court) the serve is directed to on the golden point.
