Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BeachTennisRef.App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including referees, coaches, scorekeepers, and anyone else who accesses the app.

Description of Service

BeachTennisRef.App is a beach tennis scorekeeping application available as a web app and as a native mobile app on iOS and Android. It allows users to score beach tennis matches with automatic rule enforcement for FIVB, USAV, NFHS, and NCAA rulesets. Features include substitution tracking, libero management, rotation enforcement, sanction recording, live scoreboard sharing, and PDF scoresheet export.

The web app is accessible through modern browsers on any device. The mobile apps are available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Accounts and Subscriptions

BeachTennisRef.App offers a free tier and paid subscription plans:

• Free tier. Your first 3 matches are free with all features included. No credit card required.
• Paid plans. Weekly, monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans unlock unlimited match scoring. All paid plans include the full feature set.

When you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Recurring subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly) renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. On the web, you can cancel through the app. On iOS or Android, you must cancel through your device's subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). When you cancel, you retain access through the end of your current billing period.

In-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are subject to those platforms' terms, refund policies, and payment processing. We do not control refunds for purchases made through those stores.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use BeachTennisRef.App only for its intended purpose: scoring and managing beach tennis matches. You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, other user accounts, or our systems.
• Use the service to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the service.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or the servers and networks that host it.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the match data and content you create using BeachTennisRef.App. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service to you.

You can export your match data and scoresheets at any time. If you delete your account, we will remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

BeachTennisRef.App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by BeachTennisRef.App and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand assets.

You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the service or any part of it without our written permission.

Service Availability

We strive to keep BeachTennisRef.App available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice. In the event of a permanent discontinuation, we will provide you with an opportunity to export your data.

Limitation of Liability

BeachTennisRef.App is a scorekeeping tool. While we strive for accuracy in rule enforcement, the app is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, and it should not be used as the sole authority on beach tennis rules.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
• Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
• We are not responsible for decisions made during matches based on information provided by the app.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BeachTennisRef.App and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Termination

You can stop using BeachTennisRef.App at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users or the service. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and provide an explanation.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination. such as intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification. will remain in effect.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BeachTennisRef.App operates. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
