Let
A let is a service call that results in the serve being replayed without penalty. In beach tennis, a let is called when: the served ball clips the net cord and lands in the correct service box; a ball rolls onto the court during the service motion; or the returner is not ready and makes no attempt to play the ball. Per ITF Beach Tennis Rules Rule 7.8, let serves do not count as faults. There is no limit on the number of consecutive lets on a single serve attempt. A hindrance during play (not service) is also called a let under Rule 12.
