Warm-Up
The warm-up is the pre-match practice period during which both players or pairs hit on the court to prepare physically before official play begins. Per ITF Beach Tennis Rules, a standard warm-up of 5 minutes is allowed before official play; this time is for hitting practice only and not for practicing serves competitively. Neither player may claim points during the warm-up. The warm-up period ends when the first server is determined and the match formally begins.
