Court Dimensions & Net Height.
A regulation doubles beach tennis court is 16 metres long by 8 metres wide. 8 m on each side of the net. The net height is 1.70 m across the full width. The same footprint as a doubles beach volleyball court, which is why the sports often share venues.
No service boxes
Unlike tennis, beach tennis has no service boxes and no centre service line. The serve only has to land in the opponent’s half of the court. Because the ball cannot bounce, the entire court is effectively a single volley zone.
Singles
Singles is played on a narrower court (commonly 4.5 m wide) on the same 16 m length, though many recreational players use the full doubles court.
Quick reference
